Some prior experiences

In 2007-2008, I participated in the QED (Quality Educator Development) program with several other faculty in the sciences at Dominguez Hills, and worked weeks on the professional development of K-12 teachers as a part of the SCALE MSP (Math Science Partnership) a part of a collaboration with CSU Dominguez Hills, Los Angeles Unified School District, and the University of Wisconsin.  This includes serving as the content expert for a week-long institute for teacher professional development.  In 2008-2009, I developed a new laboratory curriculum for the general biology laboratory for non-majors.
